GIVING HANDS

Giving Hands is a program implemented by the SQ Foundation to enable healing practitioners from around the world to band together with a common goal - to extend their reach as healers into the humanitarian realm. Based on the honor system, participating members of this program agree to donate the proceeds of one session per month to the SQ Foundation.

Who can participate?

Acupuncturists, massage therapists, podiatrists, energy healers, and all other practitioners of complementary healing systems are invited to participate. If you would like to join us, simply send an email to donate@sq-foundation.org with your intention to participate, along with a description of your services, and we will welcome you into the program and begin to track your participation.

Invite your association to participate as well! If you are a member of an association or organization that may be interested in partnering with us, tell them about our program and put us in touch.

How does it work?

You, the therapist or healer, decide which session you would like to donate each month. When your client arrives for their session, you can inform them that their payment for that particular session will feed, clothe, shelter and educate one child in an impoverished part of the world for one year (based on a $100 average exchange.) Following the session, simply make a donation through our website for the full amount of your standard fee. Our database will track your donations and acknowledge your contributions which you can then display on your website, office, or business cards as a participating member of the program.

After all, we could all use a helping hand sometimes.
