It is with great joy that we support and fund animal rescue organizations, sanctuaries, hospital facilities, hospices, and adoption, sterilization, and farming programs throughout India and the United States. Here is a glance at some of the projects we have sponsored in the USA:
The Brooklyn Animal Foster Network
Since it’s founding in September 2005, the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network (BAFN) has rescued more than 2000 cats and dogs and placed them in loving, temporary homes until they could be adopted. BAFN’s family and individual foster home system provides a safe haven for abandoned, abused, or unwanted companion animals, and as partners with the Animal Care and Control Center of NYC, they remove between 30-40 animals a month - many from the euthanasia list - and place them in the network. When these foster animals are emotionally and physically healed, BAFN searches for the best possible human companion for each, ensuring a loving, permanent home.

Kitty Karetakers
Kitty Karetakers consists of a small group of dedicated and reliable volunteers who all work together towards reducing the suffering of stray cats in the NYC metro area by providing them a safe, clean shelter and finding them permanent, loving homes. Through collaboration with the ASPCA, Kitty Karetakers spays and neuters both strays and those deemed suitable for adoption. Through its outreach program for children in schools, as well as the community in general, Kitty Karetakers is helping to spread compassion and love for animals throughout NYC.
SQ Foundation also supports animal projects in India. Click here to read more.
