What makes us different?
SQ Foundation is a registered, non-profit (501c3), tax-deductible organization. We provide food, medicine, water, education, shelter and more to children, adults, animals and communities in need around the World. Over the years we have supported projects in 13 countries worldwide, working with organizations and passionate leaders who are often overlooked by larger institutions, and where a relatively small amount of funds go a long way.
With each new project we support, we aim to achieve the five human values of Love, Peace, Truth, Right Conduct and Non Violence. We operate with this intent and support projects that empower communities with long-lasting and self-sustaining impact through skills-training, education and stimulating, safe environments.

Founder Derek O’Neill
SQ Foundation was founded by Derek and Linda O’Neill who, after witnessing extreme suffering in India, decided to take action and utilize their time and resources to help as many children, adults and animals as possible. Their pure intentions continue to permeate the organization today.
Irish-born spiritual teacher Derek O’Neill inspires and uplifts people from all walks of life. Derek has achieved master black belt, addressed the United Nations, spoken at the Parliament of the World’s Religions, written over 20 personal development books, been featured in numerous radio and TV programs and even hosted his own radio shows, but his most cherished achievement is his humanitarian work.
In recognition of his service, Derek was honoured with the highly prestigious Variety International Humanitarian Award, the Dayawati Modi Global Award, Irish Autism Action Man of the Year, and Hearts and Minds Pride of Eireann. Derek currently serves on the Board of Directors at Variety International.
