In addition to the Abbay Kindergarten and Child Sponsorship programs in Ethiopia, SQ Foundation proudly participates in the Care for Elders program. Many older people are suffering from an inability to meet basic needs and are forced to beg on the streets in order to survive. In cooperation with Friendship for Integrated Development Association, SQ Foundation has committed to bringing care to abandoned elders in Ethiopia. $75 provides food and medicine to an abandoned elder for one year.
